Web Animations

Our philosophy is to keep web animations to a minimum. There are several reasons for this:

#1) Large animations can take a long time to download. Don’t forget, not every one has high-speed internet. Long downloads mean they may go somewhere else!

#2) Flash programming can not be seen on every browser. Ever wanted to hit the “Skip this intro” button on a web site?

#3) Certain animations could actually cause seizure for some folks.

#4) Animations can distract the eyes away from the content of the page. We believe that if you want to use an animation, make it short lived and small in file size. Below are some sample animations. By clicking on the static thumbnail, you will open up another window. Remember, some animations run their course, then stop.
